Vocational trainers of LILAMA 2 improved their competencies by attending advanced mechatronic courses in Germany

Dong Nai, 30 November 2015

Advanced mechatronic courses took place from 3 October to 14 November 2015, at “Further Education Academy of Erfurt Bildungszentrum gGmbH”, Germany. These courses were organized in the field of activity: “Support of Centres of Excellence for TVET” of the Programme Reform of TVET in Viet Nam. Participants of these courses were 12 vocational trainers of LILAMA 2 Technical and Technology College.

The vocational trainers of LILAMA 2 were selected based on their training results of previous mechatronic courses in Viet Nam. These trainers went through two initial assessment courses and seven fundamental mechatronic training courses, conducted by GIZ in cooperation with LILAMA 2 and the General Directorate of Vocational Training (GDVT). The previous courses in Viet Nam aimed to provide the required competence level for the advanced mechatronics training in Germany.

The carefully prepared further training programme in Germany consisted of advanced modules, which meet industrial requirements for international level competence standards. The training was designed to provide deep insights into German industrial practices and applied high technology standards. Besides professional knowledge and skills, the participants also gained insights into the production process of worldwide known and leading manufacturers in the automation and electrical engineering sectors (e.g. MDC- Power Motorenwerk Kölleda, Robert BOSCH Werk Eisenach). In addition, the participating trainers also got the chance to look deeper into their in-company training conduction and cooperative training organisation with vocational institutes while visiting the companies.

The advanced mechatronic courses cover the following modules:

  • Assembling, Installation, Commissioning of Mechatronic Stations
  • Communication in industrial networks: Profibus, Profinet, Actutor-Sensor Interface (ASI) – network
  • Introduction Project Work Mechatronics

Throughout the foremost very practical training programme, German experts also guided the participating trainers on how to manage their own training delivery and to design and apply related transfer projects at LILAMA 2.
