“In Viet Nam, for the field of action in “regular migration”, we support our partners to improve their advisory services for those interested in migration. Our partners are able to provide accurate and up-to-date information through training activities on regular and safe migration, contributing to implementation of Global Compact for Migration (GCM) objective Number 03,” Mr. David Nii Addy, MEG Programme Director, highlighted.

Through the event, participants were updated on current needs of the German labour market and informed about possibilities and requirements of skilled migration from Viet Nam to Germany in the context of the New German Skilled Immigration Act
Joining the event, Mr. Pham Viet Huong, Vice Director of Department of Overseas Labour – Ministries of Labour, Invalid and Social Affair, shared about fair and ethical recruitment, with the application of the “Law on Contract-Based Vietnamese Overseas Workers” (Law 69/2020/QH14).
The event was a great opportunity for relevant stakeholders to come together to receive and discuss information related to law in labour migration and procedure of both Viet Nam and Germany.
“The event has provided us with a deeper understanding of the German market, enabling us to better prepare for our potential workers as well as business opportunities in Germany. I hope that in the near future, our company, in particular, and other similar businesses in Viet Nam, in general, will have more opportunities to participate in similar events. We look forward to your continued support and assistance so that we can send more skilled workers to Germany in a legal and ethical way, contributing to the sustainable development of both countries”, shared Ms. Quynh from IPM International JSC, after joining the event.
