One step closer to digital twin technology and additive manufacturing at LILAMA 2

From 18 – 29.09.2023, 8 master trainers of LILAMA 2 International Technology College (LILAMA 2) completed the advanced training courses on “Automation Design for Industrial Machinery” and “Application of Advanced Automation Design in Assembling and Aligning Machines” as follow up on the topic NX Design.

The NX Design topic is the steppingstone for approaching digital twin technology and additive manufacturing which is advanced and industry applied technology that LILAMA 2 as leading centre of excellence integrate in their training programme portfolio. During the 80 hours training, the trainers from TOP Solutions – Mr Nguyen Van Kien and Mr Nguyen Hoang Son – introduced the features of different materials, devices, accessories in designing automation machines to the participants and enabled them to professionally modify the productivity of manufacturing chains, critical mindset when designing machines, etc.

LILAMA 2 master trainers demonstrated that they could calculate parameters, analyse methods for optimising production, and apply Siemens NX software in advanced automation designing. All participants completed the courses sucessfully received certificates as proof of their newly gained competencies and knowledge on NX Automation Design from TOP Solutions Experts.

Mr Do Van Long, a teacher of Mechanical Engineering Faculty, remarked: “I found the training very useful to us. From what I learned during these courses, I could understand the operation and apply supporting devices for designing automation machines. Besides, I also knew how to calculate parameters of the production line in a more visible and concised way.”

The activity was conducted in the frame of the Development Partnership with the Private Sector (DPP) “Vocational Training for Smart Manufacturing in Machine Tools”. The DPP is supported by the develoPPP.de programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and jointly implemented by the cooperation partners Siemens Limited Vietnam, LILAMA 2 International Technology College and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, represented by the Programme “Reform of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Viet Nam”.
