Germany’s experience shows that the energy transition is a terrific opportunity, helping to create new sustainable jobs to ensure people’s benefits. Therefore, the workshop aims to provide a platform to discuss employment opportunities in the context of energy transition. In Viet Nam, green jobs account for nearly 4% of total jobs in Vietnam, and up to 40% of occupations have high potential to create green jobs. Domestic and international experts discussed the need and approaches to transform the Vietnamese labor workforce to catch up with the requirements of the energy transition. 

Vietnam, along with the international community, commits to strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and pursue a just energy transition. The conference hopes to create a forum to bring the topic of Energy Transition associated with Job Transition closer to the public. At the same time, propose breakthrough and comprehensive solutions for this transition process, to ensure fairness, so that no one is left behind.
