101 young trainees are on their way to participate in the recently developed Cooperative Training programmes. Today the four pilot Cooperative Training programmes for Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, Construction Mechanics and Metal Cutting-CNC were officially inaugurated at LILAMA 2 International Technology College.
Since last fall, the participating High School graduates from Dong Nai and other provinces already started with general subjects. Progressing to their second semester, the young girls and boys continue with the occupational related training contents that will be taught and trained jointly at LILAMA 2 and cooperating companies.
To ensure the cooperation between LILAMA 2 and the business sector, cooperation agreements were signed with the cooperation companies Advanced Multitech, Ishikakawa Seiko and Viglacera for the four mentioned occupations.
The three year Cooperative Training programmes were developed together with 52 companies and four sector associations. The equivalence of the Cooperative Training programmes’ content with the corresponding German occupational standards Cooperative is certified by the Chambers of Skilled Crafts in Potsdam and Erfurt.
Ms Dao Ngoc Dieu Trang from the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) expressed her happiness to participate from the beginning in the development process of the Cooperative Vocational Training at LILAMA 2, pointing out the importance to involve the business sector: “It is a good showcase of a demand-oriented training approach that involved companies and associations right from the beginning”.
