We experts of HWK will coach the examiners during the examination and audit the processes equivalent to German examination standard” complemented Mr Hartmut Stein, HWK trainer for examiners in metal technology.

In a first participant feedback Mrs Phan Thi Anh Tu, key teacher in CNC technology, expressed: “The new examination structure and processes are complex but increase the significance of quality for the evaluation system of our cooperative training programmes.”  Mr Chu Thanh Xuyen – production manager from ISHISEI Company added: “This training in particular, enabled us responsible ones for in-company training to accurately assess performances of trainees but also of regular technical staff in our companies according to their required competence level.

Mr. Huynh Huu Tri, from An Giang Vocational College remarked: “The training was practice oriented and a very good chance to get to know the examination procedures and structure as well as quality requirements of Germany.  But most importantly, we recognised the importance of the involvement of industry experts into the examination process in order to meet its requirements. That encourages us to multiply this cooperative training and examination approach in our respective TVET institutes in An Giang and Long An and together with partner companies.

The two examiner trainings were held within the component “Support for Centres of Excellence for TVET” as part of the Vietnamese-German “Programme Reform of TVET in Viet Nam”. The programme is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together with the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).
