Photo Exhibition on “Trained to build your career” in Long An

On 12 May 2013, the Photo Exhibition of TVET titled “Trained to build your career” will be opened at Long An Vocational College. The event is jointly organized by the Provincial People Committee of Long An in collaboration with Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), Vietnam Vocational Training Association (VVTA) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) from 12 – 15 May 2013.

The exhibition brings to its audiences a collection of artistic photos reflecting practice of TVET activities at vocational institutes in Vietnam as well as occupational careers of graduates through success with TVET. Especially, the exhibition is expected to provide information and photos of actual TVET offers from Long An college and respective success stories.

Over 80 photos captured by national and international photographers will bring to the audiences a multi-directional, realistic and profound view of vocational training activities and the development potential of vocational training in Viet Nam in future. Beside the Photos Exhibition, there will be a thematic workshop with title of “Be trained, Be stable at work” participated by many government officials from central to local level, vocational institutes, TVET researchers, entreprenours, students and their parents. In addtion, there will be display booths to introduce vocational training occupations, and employment need as well as trainining equipments, facilities.

The exhibition at Long An Vocational College, supported by Vietnamese-German Development Cooperation, is expected to contribute to the government’s efforts in strengthening TVET as well as to introduce a new, lively and effective method of propagandation of TVET in Vietnam in general and in Long An particular to contribute to the development of humam resources in the province.
