Valuable information and lessons learnt from Germany as well as useful advices of BIBB and GIZ experts were highly appreciated and absorbed by NIVT researchers and GDVT officials.
NIVT researchers and GDVT officials are working in group The National TVET Report for the year 2011 is a first pilot for NIVT/GDVT to develop the annual National TVET Report in the coming years. On the one hand, the Report directly serves the Regional TVET Conference conducted by MoLISA and BMZ in October this year, by focusing on four major topics of the Conference (i) Occupational Standards, (ii) Cooperation between TVET institutes and enterprises, (iii) TVET Teacher/trainer training, and (iv) Financing of TVET. Only available data/indicators will be used for the National TVET Report 2011. On the other hand, this Report is also a preparation for development of an effective mechanism and procedure from phases of identification to collection of data/indicators and then analyses, writing and launching the annual National TVET Report.
All participants of the workshop At the end of the workshop, participants agreed on key data/indicators and the structure of the National TVET Report.
